Grandchildren day

Our daughter was going to pick strawberries and I was invited along, Caleb was very excited too. However, realised that at the PYO they were clearing away the last of the strawberry plants ..... so we picked raspberries instead (three for the pot, one for the mouth version). :)

We had lunch out, COVID restrictions in place at the cafe, a yummy cooked breakfast. Caleb had a lunch box with cheese sandwich, he took what was left home for a picnic. :)

Back at their house, The boys settled to play with their toys - Caleb is such a little chatter box and Austin tries to join in too - Austin adores Caleb, watching him all the time, mesmerised :)

Roast dinner tonight (I know, it’s a week night!), had freshly picked runner beans and a marrow - tasted lovely :)
