The family is starting to gather

It was a 14 hour drive for us, and the two sons and wives are coming from nine hours away. Unfortunately our other daughter can’t join us with her family because they live in America and would require two weeks quarantine.

But we are starting to gather now.

We ate supper together tonight and then we visited and played games which most of them love. Told old stories about the bride to be growing up and laughed a good deal.

The wedding is this Saturday morning and things look like they are well in place for the celebration. She is the planner in our family so wet always knew this would be planned well. And so it seems to be.

So it should be an enjoyable week more than a stressful one. Which I think we will enjoy.
