The Gruffalo’s Child

Spent today at Westonbirt Arboretum where there was plenty of space to social distance and Jess could bounce around off the lead.

Very excited to discover that the woods were full of sculptures, as well as trees, including the Gruffalo and the Gruffalo’s Child (pictured). Lots of happy memories of when the boys were little and the 2008 Linton Children’s book festival with Axel Scheffler. In another spectacular map reading fail it took us 2 hours to find the Gruffalo’s Child, (but it had to be done) hence the selfie.

All very lovely
