An early run with a friend meant a different route and that we passed these ruins on our cool down walk

I walked by them to school many years ago but couldn't remember how old they were.

A quick search and I was able to get the answer. I was reading earlier in the week about it being the anniversary of the first screening on star trek in 1966 and how many of the scientists and inventors today had been inspired by the show and how much of the technology they had has come to life since.

I would never have dreamt that I would have a talking computer in my pocket as a child watching in the 60's and 70's.

Wishing today that I could be teleported somewhere other than to work
