Ingleborough

On Saturday son R ran up Ingleborough and down again in about an hour. Today I dragged Mr P up and down in about 4 hours. Another difficult geocache logged. My highest post hip peak yet. 723m high, the 10th highest Marilyn in England
Ingleborough is one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks that makes up a 25 mile challenge .  Something for Mr P I think. I could provide refreshments en route (by car).

Here we are on the way up. That's Ingleborough in the distance, the one that looks like a hill fort, which it was. The Brigantes tribe lived up there in the Iron Age and if I had looked more closely on the expansive flat summit I would have seen the remains of at least 50 hut circles.
