gaillardia - blanket flower

I grew these from seed - they’re really pretty in all shades of yellow, wine, red, orange, and 2 colour ones too. Only found out today that they’re called blanket flowers because their colour patterns resemble native Indian blankets.
Got a lot done in the garden today - tidying and trimming, and finding places for plants that I’ve grown that’ll flower next year. Moved a couple of plants that weren’t doing very well and collected another big bowl of Bramley cooking apples.
