Sewing in the sun

I’m pushing ahead with my patchwork project, a cushion for Jake. The hexagons are almost all joined up now, then all I have to do is take out the backing cardboard hexagons and make it up into a cushion cover. It would be good if we could deliver the finished article to Jake when it is done and see his home.
It was very pleasant sitting in the sun, with a cup of tea and doing my sewing, but I really should have been gardening.
