Smoky

From the get go this morning the air was smoky, the sun a molten ball. Our air quality tonight is  "very unhealthy", son Micah lives south of Eugene, their air quality is "beyond index". They are up here for the weekend, not just to escape the smoke, for other reasons as well. Almost 1 million acres burned, 500,000 people evacuated in the last three days; so much devastation and loss.
