Stormclouds gathering

........over the DW Stadium in Wigan, where the new football season starts tomorrow, and Wigan Athletic kick off in League One instead of the Championship.
Thanks to the ineptitude of the EFL and the greed of foreign investors, the club is now deep in debt and in the hands of administrators. The manager, most of the good players and many back room staff have gone.....the season looks bleak and there’s not been a ball kicked in anger yet.
