A grand day out

A subdued start to the day as I was a little jaded after the jollility yesterday but tea and toast sorted me out.

Bus into the city centre to meet other friends who had come up from Aviemore for the day. Coffee and a scone before we headed to the Ness Islands for a good walk round - quite blowy but great for catching up.

popped into the Black Isle brewery bar and spent a happy couple of hours on their roof garden enjoying a small libation and delicious wood fired pizzas.

Said our goodbyes and back on the bus and to the site for a rest.

Posting this early as we’re about to get together again for some snacks and a few games of dominoes.
