Full of water

This Saguaro cactus is very healthy and seems to be storing a lot of water. They live to be 200-300 years old and this one is over 100 years old. This photo was taken yesterday while I was hiking on a gorgeous day. Smoke rolled in from all the fires overnight so I did not hike this morning though it was cool enough. I cannot believe what we are seeing in California, Oregon and Washington.
