In Giethoorn

Today we drove south for a bit to visit the town of Giethoorn, usually very popular with tourists. Of course not many tourists now, though now the Dutch come themselves.

Giethoorn is often said to be the Venice of the North. Due to it's waterways and houses situated at the water only to be accessed by a bridge towards a narrow pedestrian path.

We walked the path up and down and shot loads of photos. I wore my mouthmask from time to time as it got too busy for my taste. Still, being outdoors and being able to step aside, I think it'll be okay.
