Ridge and furrow

Over the ridge and into the furrow
Who lives in this cosy burrow

Not the mole and that’s for sure
The mole leaves soil above his front door

Maybe the badger as they live near
But where is the rest of his set if here

What about the rabbit family who rush around and have babes a plenty
Too small I think and not a community
The rabbits like to live in unity

I think the fox with his rusty coat
Who hunts by night with stealth by moonlight

He lives in this cosy burrow
And raises his family to live in the furrow
