Scarlet flowers end...

As the hummingbirds are all but gone south until next year, the Scarlet Runner Bean flowers they love so much are nearly finished blooming, too.
The morning started at 39ºF, that's the lowest in 6 months. The trees will be getting the signals to pull their sap back inside and the tree colours will begin to fill the landscape with their glory.
