Biggin Wood: Tree Houses

Less suburban in large.
Extra: Pendulous painted pine cone

Im and I walked to Biggin Wood; we'd been before, but it was nice to get back to a very woody-feeling woodland, and the site is an ancient oak woodland that was once part of the Great North Wood (which in the 13th Century stretched from Camberwell to Croydon). It now exists only as small fragments which managed to escape development.
We found a little corner of the woods with lots of painted (and glittery) pine cones and these little wooden houses.
