Southern Common Hawker Dragonfly.

Today was another bright and sunny day.

Finally today one of these southern hawkers stayed still enough long enough for me to capture it in detail. Just over and hour in fact. Plenty of time to snap away and appreciate the beautiful colour and size of them.

We met up with some family today and it was nice to see them and be able to sit down and chat.
