Muddy Boots

More attempts at working this morning, and after lunch I took the boys out for a park playdate, and to exchange some homemade goodness. One poster (won in a competition!) and a custom designed mug exchanged for a pot of rhubarb and ginger jam. Hurrah! I love that kind of exchange :) And a happy playdate in the muddy playpark, most of which the Bean spent on the swings while the Bear slept on my back! This is Bean and Amy trying to climb a ginormous tree with very very muddy shoes and wellies on. They were persistent, I'll give them that!

Steve's bloods came back elevated for DVT risk so he went off to the hospital again for a scan. Nothing visible on the scan on his upper leg and they can't scan the lower leg so home again with instructions to go back to the GP if it gets worse - a clot on the lower leg usually disperses by itself, they said.

Ah well. Steve's mum is not happy with this at all :(
