Mwd gogoneddus

Mwd gogoneddus ~ Glorious mud

————— ————— ————— ————— ————— ————— —————

Dechreuodd y diwrnod yn gymylog ac yn lawog, ond dwedodd y rhagolwg byddai'r glaw yn stopio yn y prynhawn.  Penderfynon ni fynd i Lanussyllt yn y glaw i gael cinio a gobeithio bod y rhagolwg yn gywir

Aethon ni i Llanussyllt ar y bws. Roedd e'n ddiddorol i fynd trwy'r llwybr cylchol yn lle llwybr syth yn y car. Roedd y daith i'n ddigon cyflym ac yn ymlaciedig ac roedden ni yn Llanussyllt yn fuan.

Gwnaethon ni grwydro o gwmpas y dre, yn enwedig i weld y siopau crefft. Ffeindion ni un sy'n gwerthu pethau pren, a gafodd eu gwneud gan hen ddyn yng Nghilgeti. Gwnaethon ni'n hoffi cloc a gwneud o fathau amrywiol o bren, ond roedd e'n fawr ac yn drwm. Doedden ni ddim yn siŵr os rydyn ni'n gallu cario fe ar y llwybr arfordir i Ddinbych-y-pysgod. Dwedon ni y basen ni 'n meddwl amdano fe, ac yna aethon ni i ffeindio rhywle i gael cinio.

Aethon ni i'r Captain's Table. Roedd y staff yn gyfeillgar iawn. Cawson nhw system unffordd o gwmpas y bwyty, gyda menyw i helpu chi ffeindio'r ffordd. Rydw i'n hoffi'r ffordd bod rhai o leoedd wedi addasu a'r ffordd y rhan fwyaf o gwsmeriaid wedi ymateb. Cawson ni bryd o fwyd blasus iawn. Yn ystod y pryd penderfynon ni archebu cloc o'r wefan y siop crefft. Yn y ffordd honno does rhaid i ni ddelio gyda chloc ar y ffordd adre.

Yna cerddon ni yn ôl i Ddinbych-y-pysgod. Dechreuon ni ar y traeth ac yna dringo i'r llwybr arfordir. Roedd e'n eithaf anodd, a mwdlyd a serth mewn lleoedd. Roedden ni'n falch nad oedden ni'n cario cloc - yn enwedig pan lithrais a chwympo yn y mwd.

Roedd taith cerdded hir, ond rydyn ni eithaf ffit nawr, felly doedd e ddim problem fawr.

Yn y noswaith es i launderette am awr i golchi ychydig o bethau - gan gynnwys fy nillad mwdlyd.

The day began to be cloudy and rainy, but the forecast said rain would stop in the afternoon. We decided to go to Saundersfoot in the rain for lunch and hope the forecast was correct

We went to Saunderfoot by bus. It was interesting to go via the circular route instead of a straight path in the car. The trip was fast and relaxing and we were soon in Saundersfoot.

We wandered around the town, especially to see the craft shops. We found one selling wooden things, made by an old man in Kilgetty. We liked a clock and made of various types of wood, but it was big and heavy. We were not sure if we could carry it on the coast path to Tenby. We said we would think about it, and then we went somewhere to have lunch.

We went to the Captain's Table. The staff were very friendly. They had a one-way system around the restaurant, with a woman to help you find the way. I like the way some places have adapted and the way most customers have responded. We had a delicious meal. During the meal we decided to order a clock from the craft shop website. That way we didn't have to deal with a clock on the way home.

We then walked back to Tenby. We started at the beach and then climbed onto the coast path. It was quite difficult, and muddy and steep in places. We were glad we wern't carrying a clock - especially when I slipped and fell in the mud.

It was a long walk, but we're pretty fit now, so it wasn't a big problem.

In the evening I went to launderette for an hour to wash a few things - including my muddy clothes.
