A4 - NOT PAPER

I met my daughter in York for lunch today ( I hope she enjoyed it as much as I did). Earlier I visited the National Railway Museum that I had not been to since 1975 when it opened.

I can only recommend to all that this free attraction is worth a couple of hours of your time if you are not particularly interested in trains and far more if you are.

The train in the image is the Sir Nigel Gresley A4 Mallard (LNER 4468) that holds the world speed record for steam locomotives of 125.88 mph (202.58 km/h) achieved 75 years ago.
