During a walk I noticed some bales of barley straw had rolled down the hill and think that the one just visible in the pond will be impossible to collect by the farm worker.    Nearby, a Comma was enjoying the  brambles and probably the almost full box that I had collected and accidentally dropped will quickly be devoured by creatures in the undergrowth.
