The morning after the night before

This morning we got to babysit our granddaughter while her parents went out for breakfast. Oh we played and read books and made animal sounds and laughed a lot.

Her very favourite new toy is the TV remote. She doesn’t have such a toy at her house so who knows what levels of joy she may know when the day comes that she discovers it can also be used to turn in the TV.

What a kid.

Today was all about recuperation after the stellar day yesterday. We played with the girl until she and her parents headed for home.

We rested and went it for supper. We toured some of the old haunts we knew from when we lived here 22 years ago.

A nice quiet day.
