Pick it up..

put it down, pick it up, put it down and they did, every few metres. It was an obviously heavy desk and they said they'd carried it all the way from school. I'm sure it had quite a few more scratches than when they started off. How they came to be carrying it home I don't know but we had to smile. 
I can just imagine them in years to come reminiscing about their school days and talking the day they carried that desk all the way home.  School is at least 3-4kms from here and they still had a way to go before they were home.
