Here there and everywhere

A Change is as Good as a Rest

Today was meant to be our housework day, but when we went out, just to stretch our legs, it was such a lovely day that I suggested to Bb that we take advantage of the day to relax a bit and I'd do the housework over Monday and Tuesday as those days were lighter work-wise for me this week.  He readily agreed!   I suffer from runny eyes and runny nose and sneezing when our house gets dusty - hence we have to keep on top of it. It's not that we love housework!

We headed off in our usual direction but walked much further than usual and actually ended up on the border of Barcelona and Hospitalet.  It was really interesting to walk in different streets and different areas - felt like we were in a different city and we'd like to go back on a working day when things are open.

We stopped for a couple of tapas and a glass of rosado on our way back to  our Zoom call with Ann and Alistair in Scotland but had to prepare our dinner first.  Bb had bought cabrito (baby goat) on a whim in the supermarket yesterday, so we had to find a simple recipe for that - we wanted to roast in the oven.  We found one and got it in the oven before our Zoom call and then ate on the patio later on, but to be honest we weren't too happy with it.  It wasn't bad at all, just a bit lacking in taste.   Such a shame as we've had some very nice dishes in restaurants before.  If anyone has any ideas (Amandoalentejo?), we'd love to get some tips!

This couple were next to us when we stopped for our vino rosado.
