ash on leaves

On everything, outdoors and indoors.  Fine gritty dust.   Shows up as pale marks on the green leaves in the image. 

Forecast is for a change of air tomorrow (ie, the 15th). Current airnow.gov number PM2.5 of 196.  Portland and elsewhere in Oregon is having an even worse time of it.
