Pearly whites

Muggy, moist and sticky today. I nipped into Bantry to do necessary stuff - banking/shears/bird food/chocolate - all a bit despondent in town really, but the same as everywhere else I guess.

Later a walk around the circuit and I was struck by these pearly white fungi making good use of the very dead tree, going up and down the trunk (MM challenge!). Some sort of bracket fungi? Sadly not dog's vomit slime mould which Ceridwen and Talpa are very fond of. Something else had been having a very good feast in the tree - note all the holes.
