Vegan

At this time of year an enormous pear tree, taller than the house, lets loose its crop of pears to the ground. Every dog we ever had has engaged in the 'feed frenzy' when the pears appear; the rustling in the undergrowth below the pear tree is followed by the appearance of dog with a pear in its mouth, and consumption of the pear on the grass or maybe in the kitchen. Today it is Mollie's turn  Long may it all stay that way.
