Praying Mantises and a Walking Stick

So, I found three praying mantises and one Walking Stick (extra) all on my deck today. I am from the north where we consider a daddy long legs to be our biggest spider. I do no like the mantises. The one pictured must be a male because it flew, sort of. Not the most graceful flyer. It's eyes would follow me as I walked around it - straight into the house.

Sunny but cooler week so far. No need for air conditioner!
