In danger

When I came out of the local pharmacy today, I saw this beautiful small dog tethered out the front, while its owner was inside. I stayed by the dog till the owner came back out for obvious reasons.

There have been too many cases in Australia of people leaving their dogs, usually small ones, outside shops, supermarkets etc while shopping. They frequently get stolen because a small dog is much easier to quickly take away.

Our dog rules are very strict and dogs cannot be taken inside shops or restaurants or any enclosed areas. I wish people would not risk losing their much loved pets but instead leaving them safely at home.
