The carnival Krewe of Zulu in New Orleans is a predominantly black group that's been parading in the city since the turn of the 20th century.
Here is the front of one of its floats, a Viking woman wearing a horned helmet, as it passes down St. Charles Avenue near Canal Street on Mardi Gras.
