Beacon Tarn

An evening swim in Beacon Tarn.  How annoying to forget the waterproof camera when the sunset was quite spectacular. This was shot from the shore during a post swim picnic.


 Week 8 of the new normal (wearing face coverings) if weeks start on a Monday.  The first day of the new Rule of 6. Luckily just 5 of us wanted to swim this evening.  I went to my first real pilates session since lockdown this morning. Just 4 of us and 2 of them have had the virus already. One,  age 70+ who caught it in January has got onto a programme where her antibodies are tested periodically. She was tested again recently and was pleased to report she still has lots.
