Modest little viola

Appointment at the optician's first thing this morning. Bank account much depleted after paying for my new glasses .... specialist lenses for my peculiar eyes don't come cheap. If my prescription doesn't change in the next couple of years I reckon the specs cost me about a pound a day .... not too bad when you at it that way.

I don't get drops so I was able to drive straight away. A lovely morning so I went to Pollok Park to stretch my legs.  The cafe in Pollok House is now open so I treated myself to a small mocha.  My National Trust loyalty card was full so my first carry out drink in six months was a freebie.

The ground in the park was very mucky after our recent wet spells of weather but I managed to photograph this pretty little viola without getting my shoes too muddy.
