Two Tugs and a Pilot

Another lazy pic from the porch will have to suffice.  Today, Orkney welcomed home two new built tugs.  When I was nine the following few words would have been incredible to the craftsmen of Clydebank or Aberdeen: they were built in Turkey.  They took seventeen days to arrive home.  They went straight to Copland’s Dock in Stromness for final checks.  They are called Odin of Scapa and Thor of Scapa.
Desmond, fae Forres, called to say that he and Connie are to visit us in two weeks’ time; you have been warned.
It’s now time to retune as non-Blippers have their own programmes.  Good evening.
