Mockingbird

There was a lot of activity in the mockingbird neighborhood at a nearby lake.  It's a favorite of these birds, probably due to the abundance of berry bushes along stretches of grass and meadow.  I'm almost guaranteed to find a mockingbird here, any time of year.  Today there were several of these outgoing birds, including juveniles, and this perky fellow displaying his wings.
