York Minster Stone Mason's Yard

Obviously the work of stone masons at York Minster is never ending and is the finest example of 'Job for Life'.  In fact they work under the watchful eye of the general public in a cordoned-off area.  Just around the corner from where they can be seen hammering away at stone blocks is the yard where the large stone blocks are cut down to size.  The door to the cutting yard is normally closed, but today someone had left it open..
