Carol's ramblings

Busy day

Caleb didn’t wake too early, after breakfast we travelled to Bekonscot Model Village In Beaconsfield (it has been there since 1929). Both my husband and I remember going there as children, and taking our children. :)

Caleb was fascinated by the things that moved “trains, funicular lift, sky lift, coal being collected etc). We went for a quick trip on their sit on railway also. :)

Grandad needed to be back at work this afternoon, so Caleb and I did a bit of shopping (new cars for being a good boy), then back to his house to wait for daddy. :)

It was lovely, really missed him staying over. Things had been put in place by the end of February in readiness for when Austin came, we were due to have Caleb for a few nights ..... Austin arrived early March, then lockdown! :)

Relaxing evening - caught up with AJ, she has been a bit low, not hearing from family, but accepts that we are all busy, we are all in the same boat and things will get better. Her main thing at the moment is to get a new single bed that is adjustable .... not an easy thing to order online! :)
