Castle reflections

Project painting finished and now waiting for paint to cure. (See extra.) 1989 albums finished at last. Now to our 1984 albums via a detour to Japan in 2017.

We love castles and the Japanese castles did not disappoint. The main photo is Matsumoto Castle taken at night. It was within walking distance of our hotel so we slipped out after dinner to see it. This is a coloured photo, not monochrome as it appears.

Matsumoto Castle was built as a fort in 1504. It has been restored in stages since 1872.
