Relic of a bygone era

I keep rabbiting on about having a sort-out pending a kitchen re-fit.
Things keep floating to the surface.
Yesterday I found (Or more accurately "She" found), a pair of pocket-sized binoculars I was sure Scotty had beamed up and I'd have to replace.
Today out popped this.
Never worn in anger since about 1959 and now only kept for school re-unions.
