LD 177 Leaf fall

It was a windy morning and as I walked up to the study to start yet another day of committee appearances , phone meetings, constituency emails and lots of worry and work about the continuing  nightmare of the UK's deeply offensive and damaging Internal Market proposals I was stopped in my tracks for a moment by the sudden sight of the first real overnight  leaf fall of the autumn.    

Thank goodness there are still some things that make you halt and look and drink in the variety, the colour and the rhythmic reliable effect of the seasons.
