A walk in the woods

That’s a little misleading, as actually it is only a patch of trees that runs along the side of the pavement between the road and some houses. 
But depending which way I am walking with the dogs, I cut through at the end to come out by the dog bin if I need to.
The sun was shining this morning and I was in a pensive mood as I wandered through and it struck me I could really have thought I was in the woods if I hadn’t known better.
That and the roar of traffic on the A1 just at one end of the trees.
