Beach Action

I was to walking Megan this afternoon and managed to catch a bit of beach action. These birds swept pass me really low over the water and I managed a grab shot. I am not quite sure what they are though my  guess would be ringed plovers. There was quite a fierce cold wind this afternoon so the surf was ideal for would-be surfers. This guy (see extra) seemed to be managing quite well. It is not often that we see really experienced surfers on Belhaven Beach so most shots of surfers tend to be of them falling over and disappearing under the water.
