Morning walk locally and later watched First Minister’s Daily Briefing. More commentary on insufficient U.K. lab capacity. 260 cases; and 3991 in U.K. Phew.

Out late afternoon. Drove a few miles, did a different walk for a change. Not been here for ages. Quiet. Open. Good for wellbeing.

The blocks were installed in 1941 as a defence against enemy tanks during World War II. They’re two deep in some parts, less here. Originally they were built along the high water mark but environmental change results in them being far inland now. There was a lot of bird activity. It was quite cold.

Family FaceTime. All well. School talk, and a local planning application that is relevant to them - no real concerns re it.
