Remembering

This week is the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. It reminded me of the amazing story First Light written by Geoffrey Wellum. I must reread it again.

So many other aviation books on my bookcase waiting to be read or reread. I can only dream about that at the moment. Perhaps in a few weeks when I have scheduled some time off. My head is stuck in my computer rather than a book lately.

I heard aircraft flying past several times today. Wishing I was up there among the clouds and remembering the few who 80 years ago sacrificed all for our freedom today.
