So hot!

What another scorcher of a day. I plodded past this lovely flower on my early morning circuit of the town when it was a bit cooler.

Ian had a half day so we wandered into town for a quick bite to eat before it was back to work for me and a nice afternoon off for him.

We had a team meeting and the on site staff reported that the most people we had in the library was 11! We have new occupancy monitors in place so that when we get over 400 or so the guys on site can spring into action and stop more people coming in until others have left. Normally in a Freshers week we would be awash with students.  Will be interesting to see what happens next week when term starts. Will lots of our existing students head back to their favourite library spots or will we continue to be quiet?
