Ouistreham lighthouse

We have arrived in the port of Ouistreham (near Caen) for our return ferry to the UK. We had a little time for a quick wander around in the bracing wind. For lighthouse fanatics, the stone lighthouse has 171 steps to the top, is 38 metres high and was automated in 1993.
