Patience

Well, all I really wanted for my birthday was for Dem-Master to take the day off, but unfortunately that was never going to happen. They seemed to have a bit of trouble with the very noisy and dusty machine (that crushes the concrete) (in the extras), but they got it going, sadly. The jackhammer was mainly not in evidence, and actually the whole business was a whole lot better than the last two days, and noise levels were quite tolerable in Mr A's study on the other side of the flat. Vibrations were largely absent.

So since the noise wasn't leaving us, we left the noise, and after I'd done a bit of work we headed off in lovely sunshine to Milk, for a cup of tea and a bun - the first time we'd done that together in a very very very long time. At Milk, this doggy was clearly the star of the show. I'm using the 28mm prime with macro function as my kit/standard lens at the moment, and it's really delivering the goods.

Most of the rest of the day was just work, although I popped out between two online meetings to pick up a couple of things in the supermarket. A couple of deliveries came, including something from friends who thought that our civil partnership was this weekend (which it isn't because it had to be postponed because of lockdown. Who knows whether it will now happen when it should given the prevalence of local lockdowns, and the possibility of going into a further national lockdown. But I really don't want to think about that now.).
