Mission Accomplished

Today we finished walking the last section of the SWCP. We parked the first car in Worth Matravers where we had walked from yesterday and the second in Kimmeridge where we started from. Only 7.5 miles along the coast, then 1.25 miles inland to Worth Matravers. We had two big hills to climb, one called Houns Tout, the climb down in shot showing the steps extremely close to the cliff edge if you look carefully. The blip also shows Chapman’s Pool, that was our lunch view today. The first extra shows the final hill we had to climb and the second shows the remains of the quarry at Winspit where we finished. The last shows the other side of Chapman’s Pool.
In all we have walked 630 miles plus all the extra miles required to get to B & B’s, car parks and where we have done circular walks. Apparently we have climbed the equivalent of Everest four times and it feels it!
