New Book from Library

I ordered this just before lockdown. Got a text to say could i make an appointment to pick it up, so i gave two days and times. Got a reply to pick it up today 11.30 to 12 noon . went up and was handed it in a brown paper carrier bag. Suddenly one of the librarians i haven't seen for ages long before lockdown appeared and we had a long chat. Apparently she broke her hip hence the reason she was absent. Nice to catch up.

I have read all his Inspector McLean novels and enjoyed them so looking foreward to this one.

Thats about it for today except to say its been very pleasant and warm. I missed a good blip when out with the dogs. A big truck with a big trailor full of bales of straw coming out of the field gate.
