View from the cab....

A nice summers day today, dry and sunny.
A day spent baling 20 acres of silage. Left 2 hauling it home and wee brother wrapping it while I went to bale the straw I turned the other day.
Was finished and home by 6pm so headed back down the road to feed the cattle as I hadn’t seen them all week.
Back home and started to wrap the last trailer load of bales when wee brother phoned needing a hand to calve a cow- a big blonde x bull calf , alive and well so back to finish wrapping bales by 10pm.
We are slowly getting there, only lots of grain to dry, bales of straw to haul and maybe more grass to cut for silage. It never ends !
