Dahlia

This spell of warm weather has brought new life to the dahlias in Pollok Park. Many of the large heavy blooms are bent low and kissing the soil but this white one is still managing to hold its head high.

The dahlia bed gets very little sunshine at this time of year so some of the raindrops from earlier in the week are still clinging to the petals .... I rather like them.
