Fighting back.

Gertrude arrived early summer, she has survived postal transit, repotting, then sawfly, then cutter leaf bees, then aphids and my dad just said she now has powdery mildew.

Yet, here she is with new buds and still smelling divine. Sturdy girl.

In other news my dad put on new kitchen plinths and rejigged a cupboard for me. We had fun and he made a load of mess.

Very grateful for a lovely Dad who can, and does whenever I ask him with a smile and minimal moaning! Thanks dad xxxxx
